KEY PEOPLE

Hello, and welcome to Green Minds Academy Tanzania.My Name is Miraji D. Msangi, I am the project Manager, and over the past years, I have witnessed first-hand the effects of poverty within a community, and aim, by setting up this Centre of education, to combat this. Children are the vulnerable to poverty, but they also possess the capacity as a generation to lift and aid a community. In my opinion, this can be achieved through education, allowing them to escape a continuous cycle and have a better and brighter life in the future. In turn, they may then use their own experiences to help future generations. In preparation for opening Green Minds Academy, I have volunteered in schools teaching English to children, and have observed a variety of problems, including an inability to afford school uniforms and, on occasion, school fees. If a child cannot finish their education, they remain trapped in the cycle of poverty, on occasion being forced onto the streets. This situation must change, and I aim to build Green Minds Academy Tanzania in order to do this within Mto wa mbu. Coming together from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences, Me and the skilled team of professionals ranging from school teachers to office staffs is the backbone of Green Minds Academy Tanzania. Their ideas help shape the direction and mission of our organization as it continues to develop. With everyone  hand to this project we can make a change to the Mto wa Mbu Community and the near by villages.
